Greg Moody, DMD completed his undergraduate work at Middle Tennessee State University in Biology/Chemistry and his dental education at the University of Louisville. Past educational experience also includes a stint in the U.S. Navy as a nuclear electrical engineer serving on the Trident submarine USS Kentucky. He has varied and eclectic work experience including pizza delivery, Bridgestone/Firestone manufacturing and inspection of tires, hardwood finishing mill, owning a powder coating shop, owning a hardwood molding company, owning a warehouse dedicated to product delivery/manufacturing for Nissan, buying/selling real estate, and owning residential rental property. He joined Anchor Dental Anchorage in July of 2016 and is excited about working with all of the amazing staff. Dr. Moody’s philosophy in practice resonates with his personal beliefs about treating others as he wants to be treated. He has a broad range of knowledge of dentistry including restorative dentistry, fixed prosthodontics, removable prosthodontics, periodontics, endodontics, and various oral surgery procedures. Furthering his education to better serve patients is at the top of Dr. Moody’s goals for his dental career. He works to connect with each patient he treats and to make each person feel at ease while being treated. He was born and raised in Jacksonville, Fl., spent some time living in Marshall, Michigan, and then made a longer transition to Murfreesboro, Tn. His best friend in high school became his wife in 1994. She also enjoys the dental field as an office manager/dental assistant. He has three awesome children that he dearly loves named Madison, Kelan, and Jillian who are looking forward to their next winter in Alaska. They all hope to enjoy another year of snowboarding. He is amazed at God’s handiwork in the beauty and wealth of natural resources to explore in Alaska and looks forward to broadening his experience of the last frontier at every opportunity. When not at the office he enjoys exploring what life has to offer, studying space travel, technology advancement, practicing with firearms, studying politics, and managing real estate.
